Make Your Own Storybook!

In this workshop, children will use “Book Creator” to make their own storybook focusing on different aspects of their lives. The application enables students to upload their own drawings, images, videos, and audio recordings. We will make one chapter every week. The focus of this workshop is on basic conversational skills.

Chapter 1 – All About Me: Students draw themselves and learn how to introduce themselves.

Chapter 2 – My Family: Students draw their family members and learn how to introduce their family.

Chapter 3 – My Home/Room: Students draw their home, building, or room and learn how to talk about where they live.

Chapter 4 – My favorite food: Students draw their favorite food and learn how to describe it to their friends.

Chapter 5 – My Favorite Activity: Students draw their favorite game, book, or hobby and learn how to talk about it.

Chapter 6 – My favorite Sport: Students draw their favorite sport and learn how to describe it to their friends.

Supply list:    

The instructor will sends a link to the web app so students can log in to Book Creator library for free. Students should be able to take a photo of their drawings and upload it to the device they are using for their story book. blank story book to draw/paint each story, colored pencils, and markers are also needed.

Farsi Level: Beginner (no knowledge of Farsi alphabet required)
