Tina Bararian

Tina Bararian is an award-winning modern dancer, choreographer, actor, and film director. She holds degrees in Film Studies from York University and Dance Performance from George Brown College. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at York University, Tina Bararian relocated to New York City to further her studies at the esteemed Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, from which she recently graduated. Her exceptional talent was recognized when she was awarded the People’s Choice Artist at Spoke The Hub Residency in New York.

In 2023, she achieved a significant milestone in her career by establishing her own dance company in New York City. Tina is the visionary curator and founder of “Dancers Of Iran,” a global artistic project and platform that showcases dancers of Iranian descent. Her extensive training in ballet, modern dance, and acrobatics has equipped her to create original dance pieces and film projects in both Canada and the US.
