In this workshop, children will be introduced to various techniques of Persian dance, originating from different regions of Iran. Each lesson will consist of a brief history of the dance, detailing its region of origin, as well as fundamental moves encompassing both classical and modern styles. These moves will be choreographed into a short piece to be performed during the Shabe Yalda celebration. Typical props and dance games will be part of each lesson.
