IN PERSON - Sculpting Persian Legends

In this hands-on sculpture workshop, children will explore ancient Persian myths through creative, tactile engagement. Each session introduces a mythical creature or figure from Persian literature—such as the Simorgh, Mashi and Mashyaneh, or Barmaye (the mythical cow)—and invites children to bring these stories to life through art.

Working with a different medium each session—clay, wooden sticks, paper clay, fabric, or found objects—participants will learn to shape and construct while developing their understanding of form, texture, and composition. Through guided play and imaginative expression, this workshop encourages experimentation, builds creative confidence, and deepens children’s connection to the rich world of Persian mythology.
