Sing With US (Ages 10 to 14)

In this workshop, children will learn how to sing a selected Persian song in an interactive and lively setting. Studying one line (Beit) per week, the students get to learn the words’ pronunciations, meanings, and the story behind the song and its original singer, as well as musical aspects such as form and accuracy of rhythms and melody. The classes will meet once a week via Zoom app but we’ll also use an additional platform, Google Classroom for sharing weekly videos and other related materials for practice purposes.

The end results will be a video clip, a mix of all students’ final performances videos, along with a well-produced backing track, simulating a virtual choir.

* Please note that this workshop is similar to the music portion of Core Classes F1/2/3 (Pesteh) and G (Baloot). If you are enrolled in our Core Classes, no need to register in “Sing With Us” workshop.
