The Ancient Trees of Iran

‏There were many sacred trees in Ancient Persia and Persian classical literature and folklore are filled with references to these trees. Each of these sacred trees had its own unique story and characteristics and still to this day, many of them are considered sacred in many regions of Iran. In this workshop, we learn about some of most important ones and hear their stories, learn how to paint them and make a 3D version of these trees.

* These threes will be used as a stage design for a puppet show: The Tales of Persian Fairies! (refer to PERSIAN FAIRIES Workshop)
