The Book of Simorgh

In this workshop, the children will be introduced to one the most beautiful masterpieces of classical Persian literature: The Conference of the Birds (Manṭiq-uṭ-Ṭayr) by Attar of Nishapur. We will go over the story together and will learn about miniature and the different illustrations used to depict the story throughout the history. By the end of the workshop, children will finish a book illustrated by themselves with simple sentences telling the story.
